Images from Beginning GIMP

A number of people have written to ask me for the images used in the book ... here they are, in the order in which they appear.

The second edition images are here (please let me know if there's anything you want to see that I haven't put on the page). But if you want the whole collection to work with, I recommend downloading the "Source Images" zip file from the Apress page for the second edition.

Except as otherwise noted, these images are licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 United States License.

That means you're free to use them for anything noncommercial. If you want to use any of the images for a commercial work, please write me and ask first. If you use them on a web page, I'd appreciate it if you'd let me know and include a link back to this site.

Chapter 1

Wilber goes to Chaco Canyon. Wilber is a PNG file with a transparent background; he's the work of Tuomas Kuosmanen ("Tigert") and is GPL licensed.

Chapter 2
